Ten promises. On the record.
This isn't marketing copy. It's the standard our team is measured against — by clients, by each other, and by the work itself. If we slip on any of these, tell us.
Senior people on the work
The people you meet at the brief are the people who do the work. No account managers standing between you and the team. No hidden pods. No bait-and-switch between the pitch and the kickoff.
If we ever need to bring someone new onto your project, we'll introduce them in advance and explain why.
Fixed scope, honest pricing
We quote fixed fees against a clear scope of work before we start. If the work grows, we'll tell you — and we'll put the new scope and price in writing before we touch it. No surprise invoices at the end of the month.
Plain English, always
No jargon, no buzzwords, no 80-slide decks that hide a two-sentence idea. Strategy documents, reports and client communications are written to be read by busy people. If you can't explain it to a colleague in a corridor, we haven't done the thinking.
Confidentiality by default
Anything you tell us about your business, your people or your plans stays inside the project team. We'll sign an NDA before you share anything sensitive, and we treat client materials as confidential whether we've signed one or not.
We don't publish case studies, logos or quotes without written permission. Full stop.
We own our mistakes
If we miss a deadline, ship something that's off-brief, or get a number wrong, we'll tell you before you ask. We'll fix it at our cost and explain what we've changed so it doesn't happen again. No defensive emails.
We say no when we should
If the work you're asking for won't serve the outcome you're paying for, we'll tell you — even if that means a smaller engagement or pointing you somewhere else. We'd rather keep a relationship than stretch a scope.
Your data is yours
We don't sell client data, ever. We don't use your strategy, copy or documents to train third-party AI models. Any AI tooling we use in the course of the work is disclosed up front, and sensitive materials are kept out of public models entirely.
Craft-first hiring
Everyone on the team is here because they care about craft — design, writing, analysis or code. We pay people fairly relative to the Nairobi and global market, and we invest in their growth. You'll feel the difference in the work.
Responsible sourcing & production
When an engagement involves physical production — merchandise, print, packaging — we source from suppliers who pay fair wages, work under safe conditions and, wherever possible, use materials with a lower environmental footprint. We won't recommend a cheaper option that we wouldn't want our name on.
Easy to reach. Easy to fire.
A senior lead is on every project and available on a named email and phone. If you ever want to pause or end an engagement, you can — the termination terms in our scopes are written to make it painless, not punitive.
If anything on this page slips during your work with us, email info@lantana-labs.com and we'll answer within 48 hours.
